'Disgraceful' state

STREETS in and around Honiton town centre are in a disgraceful state", according to former mayor Joanna Bull. She is concerned that litter has become a problem in Honiton and that rubbish is an eyesore visitors don't want to see.

STREETS in and around Honiton town centre are in a "disgraceful state", according to former mayor Joanna Bull. She is concerned that litter has become a problem in Honiton and that rubbish is an eyesore visitors don't want to see."For visitors coming into the town it is extremely important that we get it into ship-shape," Mrs Bull told the annual town meeting.She called for East Devon District Council's REACT team to be more visible in Honiton.
