Disruption to rail services

Delays for passengers travelling between Honiton and Exeter St Davids.

Rail passengers travelling between Honiton and Exeter St Davids are being advised of delays after lightning damaged signalling equipment.

Services between the stations are currently unable to operate. However, a replacement road service is taking passengers between Honiton and Exeter St Davids in both directions.

A spokeswoman for South West Trains said: “Engineers are currently working to repair the damaged signalling equipment but in the meantime we are unable to operate trains between Honiton and Exeter St Davids. We are operating replacement bus services between Honiton and Exeter St Davids in both directions until further notice. In addition, customers travelling with advance tickets can travel on earlier or later trains.”
