A 'distressed' woman, who had been reported missing, was rescued by Lyme Regis RNLI yesterday (Wednesday, June 9).
The 31-year-old was spotted sitting on the water's edge at Black Venn shortly after 5.20pm.
Crew member Andrew Rice swan ashore to speak to the woman. He said: "When I reached her, she was wet, cold and confused."
She was taken to Lyme Regis harbour, where she was met by police and taken to hospital.
