Lyme Regis RNLI crew go to the aid of broken down dive boat eight miles off West Bay
Divers and crew were rescued by the Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat today (Sunday) when their vessel developed engine trouble eight miles south of West Bay.
The rescue vessel, Spirit of Loch Fyne, was already at sea during a Sunday morning training session when coastguards raised the alarm.
The dive boat, Ruby J., safely recovered two divers from the sea before being towed by the lifeboat into West Bay harbour.
