But Dr Clare Seamark will still run a women’s health clinic in the town.
Dr Clare Seamark, who has been a GP at Honiton Surgery for almost 25 years, is to leave the partnership in the New Year.
Mrs Seamark will depart next month to spend more time developing her interests in women’s health, teaching and research.
She has expertise in family planning and reproductive health care and, during her time at the practice, has undertaken a Masters Degree in 1996 and an MD in 2003 on Teenage Pregnancy.
Dr Seamark will continue to run a women’s health clinic half a day a week in Honiton and will be training new GPs in family planning procedures.
