A FIELD in Honiton Bottom Road will still be accessible to dog walkers when the site is turned into a nature reserve.

That was the reassurance given by East Devon District Council's arts development officer when she addressed Honiton Town Council.

Ishbel Ramsay said an area in the field will be cleared, making a larger area accessible to dog walkers.

"There will be more dog bins and very boggy parts of the site will be managed with sleeper bridges," she said.

"There will be better access for walkers, who will still be able to enjoy a circular walk.

"The play trail at the site will be fenced off.
