A DOLL was baptised in St Paul's Church, Honiton, yesterday (Wednesday) as part of children's role play event.

More than 40 Year 2 pupils from Honiton Primary School visited the church as part of their 'special times' project.

They aimed to find out how the birth of a baby is celebrated, and the Reverend Karen Spray talked the children through a christening ceremony.

The children dressed up as a vicar, parents and godparents for a mock christening service.
