DALWOOD Dolphins took part in an annual 72-mile raft race on the River Wye in aid of charity.Despite being their 16th attempt, The Dolphins badly damaged their raft on the first day and came in 14th in the three-day race. But they raised over £1,800 for Jimbo Gould, 17, a quadriplegic urgently in need of a powered wheelchair.Dolphin member David Dower said: "All the money raised is very much needed as the wheelchair unit Jimbo needs costs several thousand pounds. Such equipment will enrich his lifestyle and allow him as much independence as possible."Further contributions to the wheelchair fund can be made at: david@c2c-research.co.uk
