AN EAST DEVON school is staging a double celebration after receiving an outstanding report from education inspectors and because a major rebuilding project is nearly complete. The £1.4 million programme at Upottery Primary School is providing two new classrooms, a hall and kitchen and will mean a virtually new school. It will be completed in the Spring. And inspectors from the school standards agency, Ofsted, have judged Upottery as a high performing school with many outstanding features. They say there have been significant improvements at the 77-pupil school since it was last inspected in 2005."Pupils very much enjoy coming to school because of the good company of their peers and adults and because they enjoy learning," say the inspectors.
