Douglas Hull ousted in Axminster by swing to Conservatives

The TORIES took the Axminster ward with a majority of 350 votes. Andrew Moulding polled 2,110 votes to take the seat from Lib Dem Douglas Hull.

The TORIES took the Axminster ward with a majority of 350 votes.Andrew Moulding polled 2,110 votes to take the seat from Lib Dem Douglas Hull.The United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) was in third position, candidate Barrie Draper polling 625 votes. Labour candidate Jeremy Walden polled 130 votes.The turnout at the polls was 50.6 per cent.
