15th century inn has new leaseholders.
The leasehold of a 15th century pub in Broadhembury has been sold off a guide price of 80,000.
The Drewe Arms, featured in the 2011 Michelin Eating Out in Pubs Guide and The Good Pub Guide, has been sold to owners who “intend to refresh the menu whilst immersing themselves in local life”, said a spokesman for Christie and Co.
The previous owners are relocating abroad and sold the lease “an improving reputation”.
