The dramatic pursuit happened on Wednesday, February 7.

A driver led police on a 40-mile pursuit through Somerset before he was finally arrested in Honiton.

The dramatic chase happened on Wednesday, February 7.

PC Adam Clapp, detailing the situation on Twitter, said the driver was arrested for failing to stop.

He added that the driver was not insured, had no licence and also failed a ‘drug wipe’.
