Coastguards scrambled after report of unconscious man on the beach
COASTGUARDS beach a search of Lyme Regis beach at around 9.30pm last night (Monday) after reports that a man had collapsed and was unconscious.
They called off the hunt after learning that the informant – who was well known to local police – had been drunk.
