ONE of Honiton's most respected business names is back on the High Street - to help people budget during the recession.Dudley Broom Removals Limited, which advertises every week in the Herald's classified section, has opened a secondhand furniture shop.Selling furniture is a former cornerstone of the business and something owners Jon and Julie Rae are pleased to re-introduce.Their showroom, which sells everything from a tea towel to electrical goods and single items of cutlery, has opened at the rear of Colystock Kitchens, opposite The Bird's Nest Restaurant.Part-exchange is welcome and Dudley Broom will purchase saleable items for cash. The company will even collect.For those on a tight budget, a weekly payment system is available - meaning people can pay what they can afford until an item is paid for. When an account is settled, the reserved item will be delivered.Clearance and removal work remains the main part of Dudley Broom's business, established 37 years ago.The showroom is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
