Football players of all ages and abilities took part in a charity tournament at the weekend.

The event supported Cots for Tots, the special care baby charity for St Michael’s Hospital, Bristol. which helps in transforming the lives of sick and premature babies and their families.

The fundraiser was put on by Kerri Winter, who needed the help of the charity when her son Charlie was born.

Kerri and her family actively raise money every year to give something back to the charity for its life saving help.

Half a dozen teams battled it out in the pouring rain and the winning team was ‘Team Royal’ captained by Gavin O’Hara.

Kerri said: “Despite the rain lots of fun was had by all who visited and took part and a lot of money was raised for a good cause.”
