With the aid of a �35,000 grant from Community Spaces, the new sports field at Dunkeswell will be transformed.
With the aid of a �35,000 grant from Community Spaces, the new sports field at Dunkeswell will be transformed.
The tarmac base of the multi-use games area will have new goal ends and will be marked out for football and basketball.
There will be three new exercise machines usable by all ages from teenage to adults and a picnic area will planted with trees and shrubs to provide shade.
Work will start before Christmas and there will be an opening ceremony at February half-term when the final trees will be planted by children and adults from the village.
