The East Devon Green Party has revealed its parliamentary candidate for Tiverton and Honiton.
Gill Westcott, will be at the Beehive in Honiton next week to talk about the Green Party vision for a ‘safety first economy’ and its policies.
She said: “If you are interested in how our economy can work for everyone, without damaging future prospects, do come along.
“I believe it is possible to have an economy that works for everyone and plays fair by the younger generation.
“Many economic decisions are about values and shouldn’t be hidden in technical jargon - we need better public discussion on these things.”
The event, on next Tuesday, is free and no booking is required.
It starts at 7.30pm and tea and coffee will be available from 7pm.
Gill lives in Mid Devon and is chair of Cheriton Bishop Parish Council and secretary of Cheriton Bishop Community Land Trust, which is providing affordable housing in a rural village.
