A sponsored Easter walk will be held in Honiton to fundraise for an eyesight charity.

The five-mile walk, which starts at 8pm on Thursday, April 2, costs £12 per person and is open to everyone.

Fancy dress is optional.

The walk is in aid of See the Future – a Honiton-based charity which aims to raise awareness of the importance of regular eye tests.

The walk starts in Allhallows Playing Fields in Northcote Lane and well behaved dogs are also invited to join the event which promises fun, fitness and entertainment.

Last year’s walk proved a success, with more than £700 raised for the charity. Any money raised will fund research into eye conditions which can lead to loss of sight.
