Lyme coastguard rescue officers assist in the helicopter evacuation of victim from Broad Ledge
AN elderly man had to be airlifted to hospital from the beach at Lyme Regis yesterday (Sunday).
Coastguard rescue officers were called to the Broad Ledge area at around 1.15pm to assist South West Ambulance service with the helicopter evacuation of the man.
His condition is currently unknown.
