Elected to serve a further term

THE Mayor of Axminster, Councillor Graham Godbeer, and his deputy, CouncillorRonald Jones, were elected to serve a further term in office by fellow councillors at their monthly meeting on Monday night.

THE Mayor of Axminster, Councillor Graham Godbeer, and his deputy, CouncillorRonald Jones, were elected to serve a further term in office by fellow councillors at their monthly meeting on Monday night.Councillor Douglas Hull said of Mayor Godbber: "He has not blotted his copy book, so we should give him another year to have a go."Mr Godbeer thanked everybody and said he was grateful for the opportunity to complete some unfinished business.
