Four candidates are standing in the General Election, on Thursday, June 8, for the Tiverton and Honiton constituency. Caroline Kolek, Labour.

Caroline has lived in the constituency since 1990, where she raised her four children.

She studied with the Open University during her spare time in order to become a qualified teacher.

She is disillusioned by the damage the Tories have done to our education sector.

All four of her children attended the local primary school in Upottery and also attended Honiton Community College.

Caroline has served as Mayor of Honiton for the past two years, where she worked hard to fight to keep hospital community beds and also to support local organisations.

Caroline believes Labour is the only party which will give local schools fair funding, properly invest in our NHS and provide adequate care for our elderly population.
