FEATHERS, sequins and glue were the order of the day when Honiton Craft Club members took part in a masque-making competition. The event, held during the club's meeting last Wednesday at Meadow View Chapel, produced a colourful array of results. Herald editor Belinda Bennett judged the contest and the winner was Elsie Delve. During the meeting, it was revealed craft club chairman Anne Dunn is now home after a five-week spell in hospital. Her friends were pleased to hear she is on the mend after contracting a rare form of shingles. Sheila McBrearty, the club's press officer, thanked the Herald for its support, saying reports in this newspaper had helped to boost membership.
