Emergency services were called out last night (Monday, March 5) after a single-vehicle collision in Chard.
A fire appliance was called out to a report of a traffic collision in Gulway Mead at around 11pm.
On arrival the crew confirmed that the incident involved one vehicle and that no one was trapped.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “First aid was rendered to one male person before arrival of the ambulance. “The fire crew also made the vehicle and scene safe.”
A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed that a patient was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
