Following boundary changes, some East Devon residents will vote in another constituency at the forthcoming general election.

Applications for postal votes or registering to vote must be received by East Devon District Council by April 20.

Proxy voting applications need to at Knowle by April 27.

The East Devon election count will take place at Knowle as soon as polling stations close.

Changes to constituency boundaries* come into effect on May 6 and many people living within the area served by EDDC will find that they are voting for candidates in either the Tiverton and Honiton or Central Devon constituencies.

For example, if you live in Seaton you now vote in the Tiverton and Honiton constituency; if you live in Brampford Speke or Upton Pyne, you will be voting in Central Devon.
