Exeter Mosque’s Imam pays a visit to Offwell school

The Imam shared his own little book of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad.

The Imam of Exeter Mosque, Imam Mohammed Abrar, recently visited Offwell C of E Primary School.

Imam Abrar joined pupils to talk about the Islamic faith.

The Imam introduced children to the Qur’an and shared his own special little book of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. The children found it interesting to know how many of the sayings were also demonstrated in the school’s core values of caring, sharing, honesty, loyalty and forgiveness. The Imam gave the school an English copy of the Qur’an and other gifts which children will be able to use to find out more about Islam in their RE lessons.
