AXMINSTER Arts is running an exhibition of around 30 paintings in watercolour, oils and pastel.

The work by artists from Newton Poppleford Art Society will run until Saturday, July 4, at Axminster Arts Café.

The Society started in 1996 with 36 members and now has 90 - and a long waiting list. It holds monthly meetings and an annual exhibition in the Primary School at Newton Poppleford.

It has recently exhibited at Escot and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. The Society raises funds for several charities.
