Four South West-based artists have come together to produce a new exhibition as part of this year’s Devon Open Studios.

The exhibition is currently showing in the new exhibition space, Woodhayes Gallery, set in the Blackdown Hills - just outside Honiton.

The artists involved are Joanne Brown, Trish Browne, Judith Lakeman Fraser and Zee Jones.

A combined theme of vibrant colour and gestural mark making connects the group, and their inspiration stems from the dramatic landscapes of the Jurassic coastline and the Devon countryside.

Greg Page-Turner, owner of Woodhayes Gallery, said: “We are thrilled to welcome this exhibition to Woodhayes Gallery and support South West artists as part of Devon Open Studios.”

The Gesture and Colour exhibition will run until Sunday, September 25.
