A LEADING authority on rhododendrons will be guest speaker at the next meeting of Honiton Garden Club.Dr Mike Robinson, chairman of the Rhododendron, Magnolia and Camelia Committee, is the co-author of a new book on the identification of the rhododendron species, published by Kew last week.Steve Hootman, one of the world's most respected plantsmen, has described Dr Robinson in the book's foreword as an international expert in his field.The garden club will meet in the narthex of St Paul's Church, Honiton, at 6.30pm on April 16.New members welcome.
