AN AXMINSTER woman is relieved nobody was hurt when two cars exploded outside her house in a suspected arson attack.Trish Warwick, of Coombe Lane, and her friends visiting from London had their cars badly damaged at 3.43am following the town's carnival. The mother of three rushed her children and a fourth child who was visiting out of harm's way.She said: "The loud explosions woke me up. I looked out of the window and saw fire balls. I got everybody to the front door, away from the back of the house in case the fires exploded again."I'm thankful the petrol tank didn't explode - then people could have been hurt. Property is replaceable, people aren't."That someone would do this is irresponsible to say the least. It's mindless. You don't expect this sort of thing in Axminster."Our friends had to hire a care to get back to London. It didn't exactly enhance their trip.
