an eye-catching display from Payhembury Pre-Schooler’s.

Among other local groups, Payhembury Pre-School were busy making an array of multi-coloured doiley flowers and baskets for their display for the 48th village Spring Bulb and Flower Show which was held at the end of March.

After all these years it is more popular than ever with nearly 500 entries. Over 150 villagers attended to see all the amazing exhibits and who the winners of the nine cups would be!

Classes ranged from bulbs and plants, cut flower arrangements, cookery and preserves, handicraft and a children’s section; which included a garden in a seed tray, a painted thumb print pattern and a face on a slice of bread! What a lovely afternoon they all had.
