RESIDENTS at Offwell are preparing to pull out all the stops to host a family firework and bonfire night.

RESIDENTS at Offwell are preparing to pull out all the stops to host a family firework and bonfire night.The annual event, in aid of Offwell Recreation Ground and Village Hall Charity, will take place on the playing field on Saturday, November 1."It just gets bigger and better every year," said one of the organisers."There will be a barbecue, hog roast, mulled wine, open bar, toffee apples and a children's disco."As an added 'extra' this year, there will be a tabletop sale in the village hall from 6pm."Anyone wishing to book a table at a cost of £7.50 is asked to call Ann on (01404) 831527.
