Family fun at the Minster Challenge - pictures

Fine weather ensured a bumper turnout for the fourth annual Minster Challenge and family fun day at the Axe Valley Community College on Sunday.
In addition to the three running races, crowds enjoyed a host of entertainment, which included a display by the Karizma Majorettes and a performance from the college’s steel band.
There were also wide variety of refreshments on offer and the cake stall did brisk business.
Organisers have thanked all this year’s sponsors, which included Tower Services, petrol and service station, R & H Signs, J K S Floorings, Thomas Moore and Toymaster, Exeter, and Fred Hansford carpet fitters.
By covering the expenses, they ensured that all funds raised on the day will go towards sports equipment that will benefit all members of the college.

Running events on the day included The Challenge, a fun run and a junior run, for 11-year-olds and under, on the school fields.
