Honiton Town Council has said farewell to clerk Lyn Hargood who has retired after five years of service to the town.
Councillors past and present turned out to wish her well, together with representatives from Honiton and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other organisations, during a retirement party staged in the council chamber.
She was presented with a beautiful orchid during the civic reception.
Lyn joined the council in February 2008. At the reception, Chetna Jones, who has taken over from Lyn as the new town clerk, was given a warm welcome.
