A SEATON woman is in a flap about bidding farewell to her feathered friend Crackers.Mollie Somers, of Queen Street, took the animal in as a baby duck after it fell from the sky - having been dropped by a bird of prey.Now Crackers has grown out of three cages and Mollie feels it is time to re-home the plucky creature at Cricket St Thomas, near Chard.She said: "I will miss Crackers - I've had her since she was a little ball of fluff.And I've never looked after a duck before, but I enjoyed it."She said that in a time when reports on animal cruelty were on the increase, it was important to show people still cared for pets.
