RESPECTED Lyme Regis police officer Dennis Bye retires from Dorset Police today (Tuesday).PC Bye has been a familiar and friendly face on the beat in West Dorset for many years, and will be sorely missed by the community he has served so well.His colleagues announced his retirement early this morning saying, despite PC Bye's youthful good looks, he had reached the age of retirement.
