Animals of all shapes and sizes visited a Honiton farm shop when it put on a miniature country fayre at the weekend.
The event was held at Countrywide Farmers, in Reme Drive, and welcomed a range of visitors who enjoyed seeing and petting a variety of different creatures on the day.
Several donations were also made at the fayre. Cat, dog and horse food and equipment went to the Blue Cross Rehoming Centre and horse feed was shared between the Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue and North Devon Equine Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Helen Heathcote, who organised the event, said: “The kids loved being able to stroke the lambs and pat ‘Patchwork’ the Shetland pony we had visiting for the day.
“The bigger kids enjoyed handling ‘Crouch’ the Harris Hawk owned by Jonathan Marshall who also brought his two peregrine Falcons, Duchess and Queenie.
“The police attended to offer their free security marking service which proved very popular. We also had Phaze Photography on hand to take pictures of people’s beloved pets, while Wyn Leney dog trainer was there along with Cat Wakely from NAF horse supplements giving nutritional advice.
“New Street Vets were also on hand to microchip people’s pets for £10.
“A great day was had by all and was a big success.”
