Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat launched after dinghy capsizes.
A father and son were rescued by the volunteer crew of the Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat after their inflatable dinghy overturned off Charmouth beach.
The dinghy is believed to have capsized while the pair were turning back to shore yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
Portland Coastguard requested the launch of the lifeboat at 3pm after receiving reports of a couple in trouble at the mouth of the River Char.
The father and son were met by paramedics and the coastguard when they were returned to Lyme Regis Harbour by the lifeboat crew.
