Police becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 42 year old Simon Evans who may have travelled to Devon

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Lyme Regis man.

Simon Evans, 42, was last seen at his home in the resort at 7.30am yesterday (Tuesday June 18).

Chief Inspector Debbie Marsden, of Dorset Police, said: “We know that Simon has left driving a black SAAB 9-5 Vector and enquiries have revealed that he may have travelled to the Devon and Cornwall area.

“He has recently been very upset and his whole family are extremely concerned about him and want to make sure he is alright.

“I urge Simon to let know to let either the police or his family know that he is safe and well as soon as possible.

Simon is described as six feet four inches tall, of stocky build with dark hair and a short beard. He sometimes wears glasses, mostly for driving and reading. It is believed that he is wearing blue jeans, a grey Weird Fish top and a brown jacket.

Chief Inspector e Marsden continued: “If anyone sees Simon or knows of his whereabouts please contact us urgently.”

Anyone with any information or knowledge as to Simon’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 18:126 or if seen in Devon or Cornwall 0195 180613.
