Lyme Regis Lifeboat launched to search for overdue inflatable
Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat was launched on Saturday evening after coastguards were alerted that an inflatable with two people aboard was overdue and possibly lost in fog off West Bay.
After launching at 7.06pm the lifeboat crew heard from Portland coastguards that the inflatable had reached West Bay Harbour and that the two people were safe. The lifeboat was then stood down and returned to Lyme Regis.
