TV stars go foraging to cook up a feast of seasonal food at River Cottage HQ
Television star Felicity Kendall has been tasting the goodlife in Axminster.
Together with actors Philip Glenister and Keeley Hawes she has been filming for a new River Cottage programme.
In the first of an occasional series to be screened on Channel 4, at 8pm tomorrow night (Wednesday July 4), the three take the ultimate cookery masterclass with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and his head chef Gill Meller.
From foraging, fishing and baking they put into practice the local, seasonal River Cottage philosophy and finish with a celebratory feast.
To celebrate the new show River Cottage HQ is throwing open the farm gates in the coming months to invite everyone to tread in the celebrities’ footsteps.
‘Go Mad at River Cottage’ courses will be held on August 23, September 24 and October 21.
