New collection ponit set up for donations to the food bank.

St Andrew’s Church in Feniton has set up a food bank collection point to help families in need.

The collection point for non-perishable food items will be sent to the King’s Centre Food Bank in Honiton and the one in Ottery St Mary.

It was set up by Cara Sanders, who is also running it. So far two large boxes have been delivered to the food banks.

The collection box is located in the church porch and can be accessed during the day by anyone wishing to make a donation.

Reverend Cate Edmonds said: “This is yet another way the village church can become involved in a community venture.”
