A QUIET period, experienced by police in Honiton over Christmas and the New Year, has continued into February. Recorded crime, between January 12 and February 9, was almost half the number in the previous year.
A QUIET period, experienced by police in Honiton over Christmas and the New Year, has continued into February.Recorded crime, between January 12 and February 9, was almost half the number in the previous year.Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Ian Atyeo told Honiton Town Council 52 crimes were recorded this year, compared to 94 in 2008.Offences dealt with by police included two house burglaries, 10 reports of assault, two drug-related matters and three cases of alleged harassment.
