A DECISION about the future of Honiton Hospital Fete is likely to be made in the autumn.

A DECISION about the future of Honiton Hospital Fete is likely to be made in the autumn. Although guaranteed to take place, in one form or another, a new venue for the traditional event is being sought for next year. The hospital's grounds have become an unlikely location following the development of a new renal unit. Honiton Rotary Club, which has enjoyed a 50-year association with the hospital, is working with the league of friends to ensure the big fundraiser continues. "A decision about the location of next year's fete will be made in the autumn," Rotarian Dr Jeremy Gibson has revealed. There was no fete this year. Instead, an alternative event was held on a market day outside St Paul's Church and raised £800.
