Firefighters pump out boiler room after blaze

Firefighters were called to Colyton Grammar School at around 8am today (Monday, September 14) after reports of a small blaze in a boiler room.

On arrival, crews confirmed that there had been a small fire which was out when they arrived. They also confirmed, that due to heavy rain, the boiler room had become partially flooded.

Crews isolated services to the boiler room and used two mini ejector pumps to pump out the flood water.

Duty of care was left with on site staff.
