Office building and workshop suffer 50 per cent damage in blaze

Firefighters from Axminster, Colyton and Honiton were mobilised to a report of a fire involving an office building and a workshop at a Dalwood caravan park in the early hours of this morning (Thursday February 11).

On attendance at around 2am the incident commander confirmed a fire involving a campsite office and building also used as a garage. Four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were employed.

A fourth fire engine was mobilised from Seaton with an incident command unit from Wiveliscombe and a water carrier from Yeovil on request of the incident commander.

The workshop and office was 50 per cent destroyed by fire. The cause of the fire was accidental.
