Fire at property in Honiton

Two fire engines from Honiton attend the incident.

Firefighters from Honiton were called to a small fire at Kings Gardens.

Two fire engines attended reports of the fire yesterday (Tuesday), at 2.41pm.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival crews confirmed that the waste bin had been removed to the open air prior to their arrival.

“Crews assisted in ventilating the property. The cause of the fire is confirmed as accidental.

“No persons were injured at this incident.”
