Fire crews attend water leak in Colyton property

The incident happened this morning (Tuesday) at 7.05am, in Old Sidmouth Road.

A Colyton fire crew was mobilised after water started leaking through the ceiling of a property in the town.

The incident happened this morning (Tuesday) at 7.05am, in Old Sidmouth Road.

The occupant of the property said that water was ‘pouring through her ceiling’ from an unidentifiable source and was affecting her electrics.

Shortly after arriving, crews located the source of the water and isolated the supply.

They made the area safe before leaving duty of care with the owner.
