Seaton crew go into action with buckets and sponges to raise cash for their charity

Seaton firefighters went into action with their hoses on Saturday – but not to tackle any blaze.

Members of the crew were outside Tesco, in Harbour Road, to wash people’s cars.

A steady stream of customers kept them busy and helped them raise money for the firefighters’ charity.

Local fire chief Mike Markham and his team were also on hand to provide advice and support to the public on any fire related issues.
