Two vehicle collision on the B3261 near Cooks Lane

Firefighters had to free two elderly people trapped after a collision involving two vehicles at Cooks Lane, Axminster, yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, November 15).

Appliances from Axminster, Colyton, Charmouth and Lyme Regis attended the scene.

Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment, stretchers and manual handling to release the two elderly people and left them in the care of the Ambulance Service.
