Firefighters free victims after Axminster crash

Hydraulic cutting gear used to remove vehicle’s roof
TWO people had to be freed from their car after a two vehicle collision at Raymond’s Hill, Axminster, yesterday.
Fire appliances from Axminster and Lyme Regis, along with a special rescue vehicle from Taunton, were called to The crash in Red Lane at around 12.29pm.
The accident involved a transit van and a car.
Crews used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof of the car to free two casualties who were taken to hospital.
